Use Orion with its extension on iPhone or iPad, or the Chrome extension on a desktop computer. The dashboard works as a PWA once connected.

Create your dashboard account
Choose a username and a unique dashboard password. Save the one-time recovery code in Apple Passwords or another password manager. The site does not ask for your email or your school-portal password. If you agree to the usage notice above, your entered full name and each signed-in dashboard visit are recorded in the pilot's private usage log for later Excel export.
For iPhone or iPad, install Orion and add the Orion extension. For a desktop computer, install the Chrome extension in Chrome using the next step. Chrome extensions are not available in Chrome on phones or tablets.
The Orion package appears when available for this deployment.
When you finish: in Orion tap the three-dot menu → Extensions → select Student Dashboard Sync → Uninstall. On iPad, the three-dot menu is in the upper-right. Orion’s extension instructions ↗ The server account data is deleted separately from your dashboard.

Install the Chrome extension
Use this package on a desktop computer. Chrome extensions do not install in Chrome on iPhone, iPad, or Android; use Orion on those devices. Google device compatibility ↗
On a computer, extract the ZIP into a folder and keep the folder in place.
Open chrome://extensions in Chrome and switch on Developer mode.
Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
Sign in to your dashboard, create a pairing code, and enter it in the extension. Approve the cookie-sync notice before syncing.
To uninstall on desktop, open chrome://extensions and choose Remove for Student Dashboard Sync. Removing the extension does not delete your dashboard account or server data.

Pair the browser extension with your dashboard
Sign in above and request a six-digit code. It expires after five minutes and works once. Enter it in the extension for the browser you want to sync. Each browser installation needs its own pairing code and private device token.

Connect your school portal
In the browser where you installed the extension, sign in to Bromcom and use the dashboard sync button on the portal homepage. The extension sends Bromcom-domain cookies and parsed school records to Supabase over HTTPS: homework details, timetable, attendance, achievement/behaviour records, report titles and dates, and links that open attachment tasks or reports on Bromcom. File contents are not sent during extension sync. Select an attachment's filename on the dashboard to open its homework task directly on Bromcom; the dashboard does not fetch or store the attachment. Report files are streamed to your browser on request and are not saved in Supabase Storage or the database. Each cookie is encrypted with its own random AES-256-GCM key and that key is wrapped with a server-only key. The server attempts a homework refresh every five minutes after your first sync. The service can decrypt saved cookies, so only connect an account you own and trust this service.
Never enter your school password into this dashboard. Do not pair on a shared or untrusted device. Disconnect the extension and revoke portal sessions if you think a cookie or attachment link was exposed.

Install the dashboard on your iPhone or iPad
Open the dashboard website in Orion, tap Share, then choose Add to Home Screen and tap Add. Name it “Student Dashboard”. Sign in with the same username and password you created here; because the guide and dashboard are separate websites, you’ll sign in once on each. If Orion offers “Open as Web App”, choose it if you want the dashboard to launch in its own app-style window.
In Shortcuts, open the shortcut’s Details and choose Add to Home Screen. Name the icon “Open Bromcom”.
Make sure the dashboard web app from step 5 is also on your Home Screen. Touch and hold the Home Screen until icons jiggle, then drag the Student Dashboard web app icon onto the Open Bromcom shortcut icon (or the reverse) to create one folder containing both.
Rename that folder Bromcom, then tap Done.
The shortcut link is shared through iCloud; it isn’t an extension or a file to install in Orion. Check the shortcut’s actions before adding it, and don’t put your school password into a shortcut.
